oilergorl It is so sad that Conway's Wife of six Years would take his children to court and auction off all of his stuff & close Twitty City I wish that it was still open because I did not get the chance to meet him or see Twitty City sincerely Patricia Hardy from dryden Ontario Canada

It is sad that you never got to see Twitty City. I was there when I was 15 and it really was sooo amazing. I remember my cousin holding me on his shoulders so I could see over the wall to his house and we saw Loretta Lynn in concert at Twitty City. It's really sad that they were not able to turn it into a museum and had to sell all of his property and processions after he passed away. There will never be another Conway Twitty but his music will live on forever.

Trinity Music City, formerly Twitty City,[1] is an entertainment complex in Hendersonville, Tennessee. It was the home of singer Conway Twitty until his death in 1993. It was famous for its lavish Christmas decorations, and includes the Conway Twitty Mansion and Memorial Gardens.[2] Since Twitty's death, it has been converted into a Christian music venue owned by the Trinity Broadcasting Network.

I wish more artists would/could have the attitude Conway Twitty had: this man was as real as it gets and he deserved every single bit of his wealth (in contrary to a lot of todays "artists").
Very interesting video...he was such a great singer....he never received the rewards he should have in country music!! we all miss him...there will never be another like him!!

omg! This is the coolest video! i had no idea that they covered Conway on "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous." :)
I've always wanted to go to Twitty City, but I never got a chance to, seeing as how I was 6when Conway died. This video made me cry because I was able to see what all I missed. There will never be a greater singer than Conway Twitty. Thank you so much for posting it, giving his fans a chance to relive the memories he brought to us.
