Demons Souls Walkthrough

This boss is kinda easy well for me, first things first remove your shield as its a waste and use your sword and equip it to 2 hands, you can also increase the damage of your attack by using the magic weapon spell or sticky white stuff.

Also run to the middle with the big fire pot as your gonna use that for cover and whenever the boss comes to you strike it also try cutting the tail off as it takes loads of damage if you cut it off.

Also note that another Maneater will appear but it shouldnt pose too much of a threat so just do the same thing strike it with your 2 handed weapon like you did with the other one they should go down pretty easily if you powered your sword.

Also if they fly away try shooting a magic spell at them and rolling around alot can help if you time it right.

@numbertwelvefan93 You have to buy it from the npc at nexus. To get a better version of the spell you have to kill penetrator at 1-3 and give his soul to sage freke, who you're supposed to save on 3-1. To use spells equip a catalyst. And I suggest you kill yurt the silent chief to get his armor and stop him before he shows his true face and kills the npcs in the nexus, If you haven't already

How you get that magic weapon thing? i'm a knight too but I've never seen that. I'm up to this boss fight too but I've still got same armour, sword up to +6 and I got a flame resistant shield.

i love dark souls mre than this but man i had trouble wit these guys more than any boss in dark souls

Yeah idk this boss was really easy for me too. I used the sword of searching which isn't really known for its melee abilities but I am going with an attack heavy build so that helped. I was able to withstand most of its attacks too and had the first one dead before even having to deal with the second one. In my opinion the freaking flamelurker was much tougher. Took me like 15 tries.

Ow, and i meleed him like there was no tomorrow, used no ranged attacks or other spells...

Oh - My - GOD! I can not believe i killed Maneater on my first try ever, just 5 minutes ago. I got lucky once by not falling off by an inch. But other than that, it wasn't hard at all! I used the Enchant Weapon spell for that little extra power. Further more i remained patient, that's key if you ask me... Man, i was freakin' scared facing these guys because of the stories i read, my heart was pumpin' like a mad man! My SL was 48 when i faced Maneater. Cheers everybody, this made my day!
