Bagon head please please help me!!!! can you really use it as a phone i have the axim x5 also...how do i get wifi do i just buy the wireless card and put it in the slot and thats it?? I dont have the cradle do i need it to get wifi?? do i have to have the cradle to install a driver or something or will i be fine with just the wireless card and be fine without the cradle?? please help thanks so much!

You could try using skype as for a phone, skype is not free but it is very cheap. Im not sure if they support the x5 yet. To use skype you must have a wi-fi Compact Flash card and install the driver which should come with it. You dont need the cradle.

do you realy have to pay for the enternetm, i thought wifi used other peoples connections? y would u pay for anything?

for wifi you dont have to pay anything when using other peoples connections but when using a cell phone provider, like a 3G conection then you have to pay a fee to use their 3G towers.

I do not , totaly understand the 3g conection, for example who would you get connection from?

3g and edge comes from carriers like at&t which you have to pay a monthly data plan to use.

how do i add files to my axim (mine is x5 also) like word files, i have the dock to connect it to the pc but how do i add files from my pc to my axim Please help thanks.

@kingon1625 Bid a 2 bucks SD card reader on ebay if you don't know what Activesync is. Plug your SD card into the reader, then the reader into your computer's USB slot. Drag and drop your music files into the SD card with Windows Explorer. Disconnect the card reader then pull the card out. Slide the card into the Axim's SD card slot on left side. Open the Media player and find your music files on the card and play it. Mind you the Axim takes up to 2Gb SD cards only. No SDHC card support.

Thank You, But wouldnt I need the cradle to connect me to the computer to install the driver? ? Or are you saying that when i put the wi-fi compact flash card in that it will install the driver automatically ??
