This is a short sample of Bruce Bickford's two dimensional (line) animated film, BOAR'S HEAD, a work in progress. Bickford, who is best known for his collaborations with Frank Zappa in the 1970s, is an international cult figure who has influenced generations of animators while somehow eluding mainstream notoriety. Bickford's film PROMETHEUS' GARDEN is available on DVD - along with Brett Ingram's award-winning feature length documentary, MONSTER ROAD, about Bickford's life and work - exclusively from www.brettingram.org
I do like the music here, though... it seems to fit the mood.

You know, I'm not sure if "story" is exactly the right word, but there's definitely something here, some progression. It's hardly random. But it's so darn complex! I think this is art of the highest caliber. Maybe someone important will recognize that one day...

(^ not at all. in fact, the actual music for Boar'sHead was an unsigned contract negotiated and shot before Brett showed up to work on Monster Road.
(^ i'm GLAD for the dbbl score of Prometheus' Garden. more choices.
(^ But Boar'sHead/Whore'sBed ? though rough and in need of clipping, was not originally intended to be shown single nor doubble framed consistent. it was slowed down and sped up to the tempo of Josh Zawaduk's Dexter and the Superband WaSteband tonyRoad Cd: Bickford's.

(^ too bad this isn't the original edit, and has music on it that breaks a verble agreement with bickford i had back in 1997.
