Just a really quick update showing my 3rd set of yarn braids. I added highlights this time around. Planning to keep these in until February and then one last round for March and April.

I clearly do not own teh rights to the song played here!

  • Do you find that its very difficult to remove them?

  • @petitemizz They are not difficult to remove just TIME CONSUMING aggghhh! Lol! They go quickly when you cut it close to your actual hair length and just unravel to the top. Only concern I have with yarn braids is sometimes your hair can become intertwined and you must be sooooooo careful that you don't rip your own hair out. I have to give them a break for awhile as I noticed my fragile edges were a bit thinner. I commented on another video of mine

  • these are some gorgeous yarn braids!

  • @alshaw08 Thanks so much for the comment :)

  • I love your hair I was told that yarn braids damage the hair more so than micro braids. Any thoughts? I may have to try this style

  • @MSHARMONY75 Thanks so much. Well the first thing you must do is always keep them moisturized, so a simple spritz with water or some kind of water based mix, daily, works. I personally didn't experience any problems with these yarn braids. However, each person's hair may react differently.

  • @sabrinatai31 Hi! Thanks! Well when I had my yarn braids in. In order for me to sleep peacefully I would pull it all up into a high loose pony tail on top of my head and tie my hair with a scarf (poly, satin NO COTTON) I would spritz it in the morning and style it however I felt. It's pretty easy. to remove it takes a lot of patience. You will have a lot of shed hair unraveling with it so do not be surprised. Be very gentle with your hair and deep condish to detangle

  • how do you care for this style . I love it and want to try it. I also want to know is it hard to take down.

  • This is soo cute imma have to try this on my locs:)

  • I did yarn twists in December and I loved them, so in a couple of weeks I'm gonna do yarn braids and add some brown highlights like you did in the front. The first time it took my 17 hours cuz I didn't know what I was doing. It should go by faster because I know what I'm doing now! :)
