The Emphasis would be on their robot feature, not their alien features.
They do speak English, have human mannerisms and are have lots of weaponry.
The only thing that makes them unique and distinct from humans is that they are Robots.
I don't consider Optimus Prime an "Alien", as much as I consider him a Robot.
