This story is almost done. :'( Gonna miss it.
Plus, sorry this episode was so short.

The doctor walked up to me, and looked me in the eyes. The moment seemed to last forever. "Please." I whimpered, feeling my chin quiver, and tears roll down my pale face.
"I'm sorry." The words rang through my head like an alarm, repeating themselves, louder, louder, louder.
"No!" I shrieked, and lashed out. I punched the wall as hard as I could, and felt arms grab onto me. I cried like I had never had, completely heartbroken. Kevin, he was gone.
----
I passed out a short while later, and woke up in Joe's arms. My hand was bandaged, and I had my own room.
Joe stroked my hair softly, and I felt tears roll down my face, once again.
"It'll be okay." He whispered huskily, and I closed my eyes, sniffling.
It was still silent a few minutes later, and out of the blue he spoke again. "I'm not lying." He said, and I almost didn't know what he was talking about.
"I never thought it could hurt this much." I whispered, my voice to hoarse to speak.
Joe nodded, and I noticed his eyes were a little red.
"Are you okay?" I asked, and he nodded slowly.
"Just thinking of things." He smiled fakely, I could tell, and I didn't question it. Instead I got up, and went into the hallway, looking for a doctor. I found the one who told me the news.
"Can I see him?" I asked softly, and he nodded, placing his hand on my shoulder.
"He looks peaceful." He commented, and I sniffled, hoping he was in a much better place.
We stepped into the cool morque, and I walked over to the body, covered with a sheet. The doctor pulled it back slowly, and I bit my lip to keep from making any sounds. "Kevin." I whispered, and touched his lifeless hand softly. The doctor got me a chair, and left. I could see he was outside the door, but he knew I needed some privacy. "I hope you know that I loved you. I still do." I bit my lip, wondering if it was weird to talk to a deceased body. "I hope you're in a better place now." I sniffled, squeezing his cold hand. I looked over his body, agreeing with the doctor. He did look peaceful. "Tell Dana I said hi." I stroked his hair softly, then I got up, my legs a little weak. I met the doctor at the door, and he walked me back to the room I woke up in, which now had everyone in it. I looked at everyone's worried faces, and I took a deep breath. "Let's go home."

Dude. So much emotion. I'm not even sure what to say. I'm actually kind of... relieved. I mean, I do believe he's "in a better place" per say, because if you're in such a terrible place on this earth that the people that are closest to you are hurt by you because of your emotional scars, then maybe you are better off not on this earth. Gah. So much shit going on. I'm so wrapped up in this story. :) I'm really glad you posted.
