Slimer discovers Janine's scrapbook and he sees the startling changes in it that Janine has gone through over the years. He shows it to the Ghostbusters who are surprised to find that they never noticed the changes before. Concluding that there's a supernatural force at play they decide to investigate.
This is the most important moment in the romance between Doctor Egon Spengler and Miss Janine Melnitz!
Sorry about the quality, it's an upload from a download, but it's better than nothing says I.

  • I loved the snarky, Brooklyn accented Janine. Next to Annie Pott's work in the first Ghostbusters, the "old" Janine, as Egon calls her, was the one I loved.

  • The snappy Janine is just a more enjoyable character, I think. Not just her attitude, but her voice was better, this one is just so...plain. I do love the somewhat subversive sense of humour in this episode.

  • @Kth77 That's because this is an episode that was animated by the Koreans.

  • Janine: "What's this, a magic wand?"

    Peter: "Antenna."

    Janine: "Buick?"

    Peter: "Cockroach."

    LOL

  • When Janine's appearance & voice changed I thought she was another character initially, I didn't even recognise her!

Also when I first heard Dave Coulier as Peter I thought Peter had a cold, it sounded that awful!

Plus I wanted to cut off that stupid "tail" they gave Slimer & make him weird, annoying & a support character again too!

Even Ray suffered. Rather than being childlike he became childish.

Winston's voice change wasn't so bad.

    Egon remained untouched, thank goodness.

  • @Kartoonkid95 Not quite. The original voice of Peter was Lorenzo Music, who did Garfield. They replaced him with Dave Coulier cause he supposedly sounded more like Bill Murray, who played Garfield in the movies.

However Frank Welker who was the voice of Ray & Slimer is Garfield in the new CG cartoon.

But Lorenzo will ALWAYS & FOREVER be Peter & Garfield (as well as Tummi Gummi) to me.

  • Do I hear Garfield?

  • 4:04 "Waiiiit Slimeeer,I'm in the showeeeeeerr!" lmao

  • is the voice actress of janine of janine the sames one who did minx in jems & the holograms

  • @jekblom123 Because the issue wasn't as simple as an actor's voice changing. It went deeper than that, involving female stereotypes and what the network thought kids of the target age should expect from their female 'role-models'. The changes to her caused writer walkouts and everything - it was a big issue at the time. They realised too late the mess they had made and asked the writers to fix it. This episode was their fix.

  • well they didn't make an episode about peter's voice changing...

  • the fairy god mother looks like michael jackson
