what exactly is jah? i like regea music but im only 15 and dont get what jah is. someone please give me a reasonable answer

@Gator639 Jah is a name for God that many use, especially those from the Caribbean and Rastafari people around the world. So as a result you hear Jah in a lot of reggae music.

@Gator639 I don't know if I would describe it that way, but many rastafari musicians speak of judgment day in which the wicked men shall burn and the righteous shall enter the kingdom of Zion. I suppose in this way Jah as the bringer of almighty justice could relate to the idea of karma.
I'm more than happy to answer your questions the best I can but I feel the need to say although I listen to a lot of reggae and am a spiritual man I am not rastafari so I cannot speak for them.
