to say that taliban are pashtuns is absolutely wrong. There's Tajik Taliban and Uzbek Taliban, and now there's Punjabi Taliban which are referred to as PTT or something. So Pashtuns are not taliban for sure, there is no doubt about that but all Taliban are not Pashtuns either. Taliban is a movement based on religious ideology not ethnic.
