Re: CULT of Ron Paul

A response to the Amazing Atheist, who prides himself on logic yet failed to use any making this video. I will explain why his arguments are basically logical moot points with no purpose whatsoever.

And no there is no cult of Ron Paul, he has a base of supporters. Remember when Obama had this much support? You're probably terrified because he dares to be different. Ironically the amazing atheist would probably find he likes Ron Paul if he got elected, since he hates censorship and government control in the first place.

Give Dr. Paul a chance!

Spot on analysis. I am curious tho. You said that you were a satanist. Assuming you are a libertarian how can you believe in satanism since it harms others. Perhaps we have different definitions of satanism? What is yours?

@ltajambi Satanism harms nobody. The only instance a Satanist harms another is when they are personally attacked by another person.

Libertarianism fits in well with Satanism- it stresses individuality, liberty, and freedom.

Your second argument is also flawed on the issue of states rights and gay marriage. If you and Ron Paul are true libertarians, then you should definitively recognize that rights are first and foremost given to individuals, and not states or collectives. This is recognized as a Core Democratic Value known as Minority Rights, and to deny this would means you think that the State Governments cannot be beholden to the Bill of Rights.

Your first argument is wrong ten seconds in. Not sure if you knew that the current supreme court is split with Anthony Kennedy in the middle, and Ruth Nader Ginsburg is going to retire soon. If she is replaced by a pro-life justice, then there will be a 5-4 majority on that issue, and it could be repealed via amendment, the next Justice will be appointed by the President. So far Obama has appointed 2 pro-choice judges, whereas Paul would not So yeah, you're definitely wrong on that.

Do you advocate that we give everyone a nuclear weapon? That's about as relevant to the conversation as what you asked me. I advocate heavy regulation on firearms and that we should revise the amendment for the single reason that firearms have changed so drastically since the amendment was written.
