Well, grats.
Just keep in mind that memorizing moves is not the same as understanding a kata. That is, being there mentally and interpreting as a fight situation.

@lawker777 the thing I actually tried to is that belts don't mean crap..... 4 real..... Belts are just things that got introduced to give people the feeling that the can see that they have made progress...

@efccejc my dojo allows for belt skipping if u use to practice kyokushin n then u couldnt cuz u had to study in uni. that the only exception. plus belts arent given very easily. theres a guy in my class who use to be brown but is now white. now thats pretty extreme. my sensei tells off ppl in class if their skills r below their belt level. i know taekwondo is notorious for given out belts.

you should practace more and sciping belts is foolish. i am advanced brown and i still work on this kata. you must always work more. the practace of polishing your abilitys (ren me) is verry inportant. if a true japanese instructer heard you talking about learning things in two days and skipping belts you would be kicked out of the dojo. be modest and train and then someday you may truely say you know this kata.
