  • whats it cost to build an engine like that? I've got a 62 f100 with a 223 that needs some love. that thing looks awesome.

  • @bravo89512 Spent around $1100 between machine work & parts. Cylinders were worn so had to bore .030 over and get new pistons. Also had head done with all new valves. Cooked the block and painted it with POR-15 engine paint. Awsome stuff. Paint it on with a brush and it self levels and looks liked you sprayed it with 10 coats. Had to deal with a couple different places on the web for the engine parts but they are available. Took my time because this is going in a show truck.
