In West Bengal, India this small Village is the very last place on Earth where the Tibetan Singing Bowls are still made according to the ancient traditions. Michael Wallace travels on behalf of Number Harmonics to record a little of the process

  • It was amazing to watch the process of making these incredible instruments. And knowing the purchase of them is supporting a local industry is wonderful too !

  • Yes... Also, for every old Bowl sold we will also send some cash to Tashi Tsering, one of the old Monks at the Kapon Monastery in Kathmandu, for distribution to the poor in the streets.

Kathmandu has literally exploded with Tibetans, and is now estimated to have a population of over 8 million... Up 6 million in a decade. There are many without families who need some help.

  • QUE CONTRASTE LOS RUIDOS FEROCES DE LA CIUDAD CON LOS LUAGRES NATURALES...

  • "breadbasket"? Were you in Bardhaman (Burdwan)? If yes, then that house is definitely not the best in the district :)! I'm from Bardhaman, and I can assure you, most villages will have far better houses than that.
