I don't know.. All my friends think Portishead sucks and that their music is too deep and heavy. But I don't care, they may listen to Flo Rida, Britney Spears and stuff like that if they want...

The fact that a 14 or 15 yr old would bother to listen to early Porishead nowadays just solidifies my feeling that this band has always been ahead of its time...or maybe its timeless? Either way, Portishead is one my favorites even still at 32. :)

I'm seventeen and flip between Portishead and Circle Takes the Square. It's great that people of all ages can enjoy her music. She's dark and sincere. Sure makes for some admirable music.
