Matt Schaub's QB Draw For The Win: According To Tecmo

In week 6, it came down to the very end between the Miami Dolphins and the Houston Texans. Looking for their first win of the year, the Texans found themselves down by 5, and only 3 yards from the endzone with 7 seconds left on 4th down.

The play call was a quarterback draw by Matt Schaub, which he punched in the game winning touchdown, as Houston won 29-28. Here is what that play would have looked like had it had taken place on Tecmo Super Bowl.

(Unrelated, I actually won a Super Bowl on my latest season on the very last play on a similar play, epic stuff)

I have been out of the Tecmo loop for some time but loved the game back in the day. Yo do GREAT work! Keep it up. I have one questions, how do you have all the old teams and new teams with all the players. I would LOVE to play Tecmo again with those old teams like the 78 Steelers! Where did you get these teams? Thanks.

You can manually edit the game through some programs to change the rosters and ratings.

I saw on Tecmo 3 you can edit the ratings on SNES. Is that how you do it?

PC. Programs have been made to edit the game pretty extensively.

I live in Houston. What a great comeback, including Johnson miracle catch over the defender. Nice to see the Texans get some love. Just a little note, this was a home game for the Texans.

On Tecmo, there is now real "Home or Road" and you are always scoring in the endzone with the other team's logo.

Nope its a draw. QB sneak is when the QB directly gets the ball and jumps on a pile and is meant for short yards like a yard or inches. But this was different because Matt stepped back and then ran in.
