@soulglow8 I know of the Sanxian, which is a 3 stringed instrument very very similar to a banjo in design and somewhat in sound.

What is the title of this piece of music? Any background info on what the theme is supposed to describe?Composer?
You stated that this performance took place in Amsterdam. When? Are there other pieces of flute/ erhu/ guzheng played in this concert ?
What is a Chinese banjo? Is it similar to Pipa?
