Yeah we just kept them in the lowest gears and they were fine. We allowed them to go faster and drive with us sitting on the back. This allows the parent to help with steering or directions. First time for both kids and the 7 year old was fantastic, but I think she takes after her dad :-) He's a dirt bike enthusiast.
