I bet I would beat him, with my HTC Desire (yes, the first series). Rooted it and put an Costum ROM on it. I have a lock screen with Camera-linked on it. Just have to turn it on, klick the camera and then take the foto.
And also Calling someone, send sms and E-Mail are directely on the Lock-Screen.
I Would beat him :)

Bull crap. The camera takes time to load for my Omnia 7. Is NOT as fast as he claims. And the camera will not just snap by just holding onto the camera button. You have to release and press again to get focus.

@taniamarg86 You can choose any social network though so I don't get your argument and if they don't there is most likely going to be an update to include it.
-
@taniamarg86 and fragmentation... If you intergrate the most popular social netowrks, the people will have a choice to use it, or turn off the feature.
-
@rockindoodcm integrating everything without user choice is not a good thing.. that's why android instead chose apps and widgets instead!

@CaptainLongcat and wp7 does all 3 of the things you said, nice try.
@RyanGadz Except you can't bypass the password. If you use the camera button to wake the phone without entering the lock screen password, it will enter a locked-down mode that only allows you to take pictures and view the pictures you took in that camera session. None of the hardware buttons will work except the Back button, which takes you back to the lock screen so you can enter the password.
Unlike Apple, Microsoft knows how to secure their shit.
