  • I've been playing almost 40 years and I knew something was missing as far as my right hand technique but I wasn't sure what to do. I just tried your method and I think it is great. Thanks a bunch mate. Hope that one day soon you play in Middle Georgia, USA. I'll be in the front row.

  • @bullcrapitis

Thanks alot mate :) That means alot :) All the best to you!!!

  • Wow, young lad teaches us older players some excellent tips. I'm impressed. I'm going to take those techniques and use them in my playing. Many thanks.

  • @faridzayish how did you go?

  • Thanks for the tips, i held my pick exactly like you did before and i always noticed i was sloppy with it and had massive trouble when i tried to play speed parts! but now that im holding the pick like you said im ALOT less sloppy and its made the sound more smooth when i play! keep up the vids man

  • i just realized ever since i started playing I've picked like that.

  • really helpful, thanks a lot for making this!

  • i'll apply your "non-anchoring" technique, will be trying that for couple weeks, then i'll hit u back ;)

  • @benwilshire hey man, i hold the pick about halfway between the way you used to, and the method you use now. but i use mostly motion from my index and thumb instead of moving my wrist, problem is i max out around 145bpm and i have been for awhile. am i going to need to change to doing this or never get any better? its hard because the way im used to doing it is totally different.

  • the guitar schnozza

  • You are an awesome shredder! Thanks for the tips...I agree with you on the pick holding technique and I agree the anchoring can slow you down as well.. Nice shredding!

  • thx so much dude! i can already play better!

  • iout my pinkie near the bridge a a suport do u think that would make harder to play BENWHILSHIRE???
