I agree the nation does need a lot of help. But voting for the leader of the free world because of feel good speeches is absolutely ludicrous. These speeches have no solutions for America. I don't see people fleeing the United States for I don't know Mexico, China, Venezuela the list could go on but I think you get the point. People are coming here. Yes we have made mistakes. Turning this country over to another Jimmy Carter is a huge mistake !! NObama!!!!

Proudpatriot, I am not a leftist either. You are blind, however, if you cannot see that this nation needs a makeover. We need a new brand image, because George Bush destroyed ours in the world. I probably disagree with every single one of Obama's economic policies. That disagreement is by far overwhelmed by the good will that he would bring this nation in the eyes of the rest of the world. People will want to make peace with us, to trade with us, to work with us, once again. Yes we can.
