Another Oblivion DLC?:

Although Bethesda had previously stated that Fighter's Stronghold would be the last Official Plug-in for Oblivion, vice president for PR and Marketing Pete Hines has suggested that there will be one more some time in 2009. In a Gamasutra interview, Hines commented on Oblivion's continuing popularity and stated that the company are "getting ready to do something else with Oblivion this year". He declined to give further details: when asked what the statement meant, he replied "Oh, I'll let you know". As the main gameplay styles have been covered - Fighter's Stronghold for combat, Wizard's Tower for magic, Vile Lair for evil, and Thieves Den for stealth, it has been suggested that another more general mod such as Knights of the Nine may be in the pipeline.

False Alarm:

Matt "Gstaff" Grandstaff from Bethesda has quashed rumors that there will be another Official Plug-in for Oblivion. His first announcement was "To clarify, we dont have any plans for new content for Oblivion, but like Pete said, there are some plans to do something with Oblivion. When I have more information, Ill share it with you guys" and when pressed for more information, said "Something could be anything. For instance, the half off DLC promotion we did a few weeks ago was something. There's nothing in the interview that points to new DLC -- Fighter's Stronghold was the last one. Sorry if we got your hopes up".

There will be a new dlc, i saw the intreview, with the dlc team, they said that they are focusing on Fallout 3, they said like this " We will make Point lookout, and mothership zeta, then we will focus on oblivion, and make a new dlc to it" So there you go guys, a new dlc for oblivion, they didnt say what the name was, because they werent quite sure, what the name would be, they didnt even start working with it, they only said they will make a new dlc to oblivion, so a new dlc is coming out! :)

You got that description from uesp didn't you? Don't get your hopes up though. They only said they will do something with oblivion but that doesn't necessarily mean a new dlc.

Im telling you the truth, it would be pointless if they would let oblivion behind, and continue with fallout 3, they made changes on fallout 3, now they will make big changes on oblivion.
