you should make a video on how to make a motor mount
-
@xkillerofthefuture In my state, if you mount a motor on it, you have to get it registered...they also sent me a property tax bill for it too....an inflatable boat that cost $100 that is kept inside the house...pretty rediculous. The motor needs battery.

Wally mart sells some stuff in the sports department to seal air bed leaks! called airstop, vinyl repair. and will fix holes rips and tears in your boats. sold in small bottle and less than three buck,s best stuff i ever saw, and repairs in minutes! use it on my weed free many times, and glad because sevylor no longer sell,s that model. and you will need it with the new cheap version.

I got a motor and mount for mine and it took up too much room so I went back to using oars. It's not that much work.

@TheHipMunks thats because there is less drag on the shaft

I just bougt the same boat. Please, how do I attach a trolling motor, what all do I need. I have the mount already. Thanks
Real quick, can you explain to me exactly what kind of battery you have? Also how to you connect the battery to the motor? Do you use a breaker in between? Do you have a separate starter and a marine deep cycle battery? Please im hunting for information as to how to set my boat up correctly thanks.

@washn2hiphop40 it's been so long, i haven't gotten on a boat in a while, i think the battery is a deep cycle marine, bigger than atv batteries, smaller than car battery....i totally forgot and i don't have it with me.
just connect the battery directly to the motor, motor comes with positive and negative clippers.

where did you get the inflatable from, bc a $100 dollars is a steal?

That seems mighty fast for a 30 lbs motor. Are you sure it isn't 40 lbs? I have the 9'2" fish hunter with a 40 lbs motor, and from appearances, go no faster than you.

I also notice it goes faster when u place the blades higher up closer to the water surface.
