OS X Lion First Impressions: It Sucks

but apple has been and continues to be complete crap they pride themselves on a os that they got from free BSD and tweaked, their customer service is terrible and they are the only "computer company" that does not provide phone support for the entire length of the warranty. I have broken the screen on a Asus laptop cracked the plastic by accidently dropping it from a latter I was climbing Asus replaced the broken parts for free under the manufacture warranty try pulling that with apple and see

I would not defend Apple's cust service. However OSX is about 100 times better than windows. I use a windows machine at work and I hate it.

think that apple is purposely putting these errors into their bootcamp program so avoid having people installing Windows so they cannot compare the beauty of Windows to the crap they call osx . They absolutely refuse to help me unless I buy a apple care plan on a computer no older than 4 months. We want to sell it but no one will offer us more than 300 for the macbook pro and we are not taking that big of a loss on it. So I am going to get her a nice new Windows laptop with my next bonus check

Hmm I mean you can always pay for service... So I am not sure what you mean about them refusing to help. You pay for service and the service is on a 30 day warranty.

My main beef with apple they are backstabbers because Apple almost went to bankruptcy and died out if it wasn't for Microsoft. Apple and Microsoft made a deal allowing Microsoft office and internet explorer to run on mac and gave apple $150 million dollars to get them out of bankruptcy, apple has the nerve to come out with commercials making fun of the company that saved their ass. like the mac vs. PC ads Now if I gave you $150 million to save your business would you do that to me.

I understand your view but My fiancée and I both actually prefer Windows, especially Windows 8 it boots up faster than any other OS and Microsoft unlike apple prides themselves on keeping backwards compatibility, DOS, Windows 9x, and Windows NT based OS's are different but Win NT based will run 9x, and DOS programs, 9x based will run DOS apps, but with the mac os they got rid of support for most os9 programs, and PPC based programs. I have one final beef with apple but I am out of room so next.

Well this is something I have said on other videos but let me tell you as well. My dad bought my fiancée a MacBook pro because she made the deans list at school, she is not complaining because she got it for free, but within the first year we took it to the apple store 47 times for repair. They only replaced it when I threatened to contact the NYS attorney general. After the replacement there were still Kernel panics and other issues, still the apple store gives us crap about fixing it.

Great video. You perfectly convey my frustration with the incessant bloat and confusion of the major os's. Expose, spaces, launch control? The itunes and ios flourishes in osX look awful. Also, the huge chrome windows are hideous. Aero and xp classic are far more attractive and functional.

LOL My girlfriend didn't buy the mac my dad got it for her because she got a 3.8 GPA in college so anyways iTunes for PC comes with a thing apple calls bonjour it is a sharing service, I hate iTunes but I got a ipod touch as a gift and free is free, so anyways bonjour has a very well known exploit that causes your comp to become part of a botnet my firewall detected it I called apple and their solution was turn off your firewall, WOW, I think apple did that on propose so the sheep will be like
