Here is my reaction to using Lion for about 3 hours. Worst user interface Apple has ever done.

  • Lion needs more 'option' less 'command'

  • It's still the worst thing ever. I hate Lion so much. I hate the App store. I hate the features that have ruined my workflow. I hate that I cant sort icons anymore by date and see them all without stupid rows. Lion is terrible.

  • @slyner21 bootcamp

  • I hate osx Lion

    FUCK LION!

  • @the0real0realitykid (2) Helps to keep my desktop clean, and make it easier for me to find my applications.

  • @thomasskyg Launchpad seems kind of ridiculous to me. Just like Metro in Windows 8. Trying to bring a mobile interface to laptop and desktop machines, most of which do not support a touch pad yet. A mobile interface should stay on a hand held mobile device. Not a serious computer such as a laptop or desktop (not including netbooks in this).

With my Windows 7 PC, I have shortcuts to the apps I installed in a folder with sub folders to help categorize them. This folder sits on my desktop.

  • Mac OS X Mountain Lion lol

  • If you hate Launchpad so much then don't use it?! This is what it's for: Launchpad gives you instant access to all the apps on your Mac. Just click the Launchpad icon in your Dock. Your open windows fade away, replaced by a display of all your apps. Arrange your apps any way you want, group them together in folders, or delete them from your Mac with ease. And when you download an app from the Mac App Store, it automatically appears in Launchpad, ready to blast off.

  • Yeah, the first thing I said when I got LION was "shit, this feels like windows quality programming" lol I miss snow leopard

  • Lion is an awesome macbook air / pro laptop os !! desktop, maybe not so much. Live with it !!
