  • I have been practicing this and often get one tear at the top edge but the rest is perfect. Are you cutting less near the top edge to prevent this? By the way, I love your videos and would love to take a class. Where are you located?

  • @melissaplexy most often the clay is not as plastic to stretch far enough. This is porcelain and with keep stretching till its paper thin. I am in upstate NY

  • you are ridiculous ! I just started on the wheel ( 19 yrs young lol) Amazing btw I can't wait till I can throw off the hump!

  • you can you just haven't tried. I have a video somewhere about removing pots from the hump. you just need to find it.

  • Hi Tim, thanx a great lot for sharing you expertise; german potters tend to hover over their knowledge. Have you done a video on how faceting pots w/ lids are done? Would be much appreciated? Thanx again, Maria from germany

  • you do the same as the bowl just leave yourself extra clay at the top to make your lids flange. same with a vase or a pitcher just leave yourself some clay
