Multi Disc PSX to PSP (Final Fantasy IX) Custom Firmware

MULTI-DISC PSX to PSP tutorial

This tutorial shows the process of getting a MULTI-DISC PSX game onto the PSP with a program called PSX2PSP. It will combine multiple discs into one EBOOT file. This way your able to change discs when asked in-game.

This tutorial shows how to do this with Final Fantasy IX.

This tutorial does NOT show how to:

-Get CFW on your PSP
-Where to download FFIX, or any other PSX game
-How to make an .ISO of PSX games
-How to create an EBOOT from a PSX .iso/.img
-How to make custom themes
-How to get Popsloader

Notes:

-CFW 3.80 or higher is required.
-FFIX NTSC/USA version is recommended. The PAL version is copy protected and needs patching.
-Custom menu import is possible with PSX2PSP
-This tutorial works with every multi-disc game, just find out the best emulator version by using Popsloader.

i used this and it made everything into one eboot. Then when i start the game it loads the cinematics and main menu perfect, but when i click new game goes to a black screen and doesnt do anything else. Any ideas?

@VisforVickers Try using other popsloader version (see tut) ;)

hoi ik neem aan dat je nederlands bent vanwege je bureau blad, moet je elke keer als een psx spel start naar die menu gaan en steeds R in houden voordat je een game begint of doe je dat een keer per game en krijg je geen fout meer?

@kakachi100 Het ligt eraan, sommige games werken alleen met een bepaalde versie van popsloader. Ik heb je een bericht gestuurd met een compatibility list waarop je kan zien welke versies werken.

so did u start the game on a different disk and just came up that way or did u have it saved already? when i change from disc 1 i save then i load and go to disc 2?

im using 6.39 ME 9.4 with popsloader almost all combinations but i cant get past the first FMV black screen is what i get..
