Er well I have to remind you that some of the biggest Synthpop acts were actually British and Swedish.
However granted the Germans did in fact start the whole thing off, but remember that before synthpop they were producing rather experimental electronic music - it took them years to reach the point of being "pop" music :)

yes, but the German musicians embellish their sound and it always sounds 'teutonic' - I love it.
I first heard this in Munich in 2007 and it reminds me of that time :)
I recommend that you pick up some of Melotron's other albums.
