NOW Chief Endorses Palin I

In front of a crowd of 20,000, Shelly Mandell introduced Palin and she had a lot of VERY good things to say about her.I know Sarah Palin cares about womens rights, Mandell said. As vice president, she will fight for you. She cares about our children and she cares about womens lives.
And then, as she handed over the microphone to Sarah Palin, Mandell said;

I do not doubt that Shelly Mandel personally supports Sarah Palin (as seen in the video), but NOW officially supports the Obama/Biden ticket. Shelly Mandel has gone against the feminist movement by supporting Palin, and is at this point pretty well suited to becoming a politician, seeing as how she only supports her own personal agenda.

Feminism is a liberal movement because it's forward moving. The antithesis would be conservative, or in other words, backwards moving. This is Poli Sci 101.

Shelly Mandel has a long history of promoting infighting and backbiting in a NOW chapter famous for both.

In fact, she first made her name back in the early '80s when she decided to "clear the air" about her nemesis Ginny Foat by reporting her to the LA State Police for a crime she was later cleared of.

In other words, Shelly Mandell has never been loyal to anything except to her own personal ambition. Why would anything change now?

Yeah, God forbid NOW actually throw it's support behind a woman who is actually strong and accomplished anything. The headline above this video is incorrect. The National Organization for Women PAC has endorsed Barack Obama and Joe Biden. No chapter of NOW has made a contrary endorsement.

In the NOW organization she is the equivilent of a small backwater mayor in a remote part of rural America. She's what you call a big fish in a little pond. In other words: "irrelevant". (Republican's love throwing that word around but it sure chaps their ass to realize it applies to them this time.)
