Ride the High Country (S. Peckinpah) - Trailer

If you are a western fan and havent seen this one, you are missing one of the best. Might be in my top ten favorite movies in fact.

My fave western!!! They don.t make men like Randy Scott anymore, that's fo sho'.....

Just don't forget "Fist Full of Dollars" is a remake of Yojimbo. No matter how good you think a director is just go to Kurosawa and drink it in undilluted. "Dersu Uzala," "Ran," "Seven Samurai," and of course "Rashamon" are the most wonderful films I have ever seen. Even "Star Wars" is copied from "The Hidden Fortress."

Ah, you're illiterate racist; that explains everything. Dude learn to read, life will be better. If you can't learn to read, just ignore the dialogue, it is after all an action movie.

As to hating shitheads who "have to be different" I think that means you're a communist who hates the right to free speech and our hard won independence. Go back to Russia red bastard. While you're there watch "Dersu Uzala" so you know how not to freeze to death.

Edgar Buchanan, had the best dialogue in his scene prior to the nuptials. It should be mandatory at every wedding ceremony. I wish someone would post that section. He said that "Marriage is hard ..it takes a lot of work and the rewards don't come at the beginning..." As a veteran of western cinema appreciation and history, "I'd float my stick" with this film as one of the top ten. Oh,... and as a 37 year veteran of the "marriage dance", I agree with his sage advice.

The final shootout, was one of the greatest moments ever. And the closing scene is unforgettable.
Great movie.

I agree. Everyone throws around big-name westerns but more people forget about this one. Great movie.
