ok so when i get to the step where you SHIFT+Click restore then click custom-restore i get an error message after it unpacks what do i do now

Ok I got you so far, However i see an .exe file called ipsw in the JB_tools folder, but when it asks me to locate it, its not there, or .exe isnt a fireware file. Help?

i got to the point where im restarting the ipod with the custom_restore file, but it says an error has occurred, just like mandarrin said. i got error code 1603
