i don't believe that diabetes is going to be ever cured, i mean it's a huge industry that brigs a lot of money
making new technical and chemical stuff to ease our life yes, but not a final cure, it would ruin a huge business

Commercially. You can not make a career out of flying an airplane if you are a type I diabetic. FAA regulations.

"if you take care of your self you can have a normal life" if it were not an illness you would not have to do anything more than I do. just because it can be controled and does not kill you does not mean it is not an illness.

@Mst1m I hope I am wrong, but I think they r withholding cures like with other diseases.Like cancer, diabetes just makes 2 much money to cure.I believe if there's a cure, they'll hide it.A tiny vial of insulin is like $100.They're destroying my life cause of greed. My daughter was recently in ICU again, almost losing her to DKA. 1 1/2 years ago,her baby was stillborn&I almost lost her, 2,from DKA.Not even Drs. can keep it under control. She's 29&Drs say she'll be lucky to make it to 35.I hope u do k

@actrapide In your last mail to me you said: "Oh & lastly...YOUR NOW BLOCKED haha as you have nothing to say that interests me in the slightest!"
Don't ha, ha me my dear, because you are the one injecting 4x a day & I wonder
of how much longer your body will be able to handle that much artificial insulin (are you on other drugs too?)
without, at the same time addressing many other critical factors...diabetes complications are a real possibility...If you knew, you'd wish you were my patient
-
@actrapide I don't have to prove to you or to anyone anything...and who are
you by the way? someone with no qualifications in Medicine that plays
doctor, expert, I know it all...you are on the wrong tangent my dear & ill-
informed and closed-minded as you are, you are doing a bad service for others.
So, why don't you spare us your bullshit & leave expert talk to experts...
go wash some dishes with your think-alike sweetclaire06???
Net-surfing puppets like you leave a bad odour behind

@actrapide Injecting 4x a day!!!..I feel really sorry for you, your illness is quite
serious & I feel deeply for you...but 4 years on the same insulin level, & that's
because of your own knowledge...this simply my dear is not good enough....
in the hands of a competent doctor you should be doing much better...if you
knew, you'd wish you were my patient!!!
If you want to get better you must change your attitude...open your
mind to Scientific Naturopathy...don't pretend you know all...

@arrowhead3k control! People like you should be banned from login on too the internet because you only use it to cause trouble & stir the sh*t! May i recommend the next time you pick an argument with someone, you learn about the subject before you open your vile, fat assed mouth! You cant even answer my simple question i asked you so that tells us all YOU know nothing worth knowing about diabetes! Oh & lastly...YOUR NOW BLOCKED haha as you have nothing to say that interests me in the slightest!

@arrowhead3k Hey numbnuts, when you said in a previous post "I have a new patient" it implies that your some kind of health worker & nothing else! As for my ever increasing amounts of daily insulin, i am on the same daily dose i was on 4 years ago! Through choice i inject 4x a day! Thats what professional sports people with diabetes do, as it give you brilliant control if managed correctly! As for me playing doctor, no im playing survival as its my own knowledge that keeps my diabetes under...
T1D is absolutely an illness - an auto-immune disease. Don't minimize the seriousness of the disease. That said, I do appreciate your "can do" attitude. However, there are some limitations IMPOSED upon T1Ds - can't fly an airplane, can't join the military, can't work for certain civil service offices, etc. I disagree with some of the externally imposed limitations. Sadly, you are not 'just like everybody else" in that regard. Unfortunate. I pray for a cure every single day.

I have type on as well and i was diagnosed about 4 months ago. I might still be in that " its ok if u take care of your self " phase, but i know ill probably HATE it when i start getting complications. But ive given it all to God because i know theres nothing i can do about it except try my best to control BS levels. And heck NO you are not gonna have a normal life. I just hope they are not *withholding* cures, just to make money from us, like they do with every other diseases!!!!

@Mst1m i have it for 5 years. still alive and happy with my life. don't feel diffrent from my friends and thinking about doing another video on the topic in the next moths. so you can live a normal life ;)

can't really hear what your saying. However I have type 1 and I don't care what you or anyone says, its far from fucking normal. Live with it for at least ten years then we will see how peachy you are. Let the early stages of kidney disease hit you, let some nerve or eye damage effect you, perhaps then you will change your tune. It doesn't matter how much you take care of your the disease is always messing your body up 24.7 it never stops. Treatment is not a cure.
