@cooldog60 well i guess you can, but if the threads are stripped and it's recessed, then it'll be a real bitch to get out. ten-fold if it's rusted.

I've used the Irwin extractors with good luck. The key is to get the correct size, and use a good quality metal drill bit to create the hole.

As long as you can get to the screw with a drill bit and the extractor, the steps in the video should work.
