The first 2 minutes are like a giant mix of Final fantasy 7, 8 and 9, it makes me feel incredibly nostalgic. I feel like I could be swept away from this world and live in those games forever.

@Standuble Indeed, however I mean they should have made him a good character, and allowed him to join the party. If he was playable I'm sure his move set would have been more unique.

@Wiseman108 From what I saw of him he was too "generic" to be a main character, e.g. a skill set mixed from Zidane's and Steiner's but no unique traits of his own.

Blank was another character that should have joined the party permanently, however in FF9 the good characters always remained side characters.
