@robrobinette I'm using an actual Canon Camcorder cost like 1000 and it has this exact same problem on the racetrack or just driving on the streets....the video is unwatchable

@robrobinette ive been track racing for almost 2 years now ive never frozen up during a pin even on my first track race i really dont know how people can freeze up even on public roads most people freeze up or even let go of the steering wheel during a slide im shocked people would ever tink its a good idea to let go of the thing that controls your car

@ghettobraden Dude, I have passed literally hundreds of Corvettes on track. They're fast cars but usually poorly driven.

The camera was a Canon zoom still camera and the zoom lenses were rattling around causing the vibration and noise. I've replaced it a couple of time since then and am currently using a Contour 1080p for in car video.

My theory is the rear began to slide before the apex and he didn't correct--you can see the front wheels don't turn left at all. I've seen people hit the inside wall in a turn because they didn't counter-steer in a big slide.

@robrobinette i hate it when people try and theorize other peoples driving. you werent there. hence you didnt know what happened... and right you cant see his front wheels turning because theres nothing but dirt covering your view of them

@divine101 I wasn't there? I was in the car shooting this video. I'm not talking about what he did with the steering wheel when he was in the dirt, I'm saying that when he was on track turning in for the turn he screwed up, you can see that the front wheels were not steered to the left--what he should have done to counter the rear slide. Yes, this is all speculation but I've been a driving instructor for a few years and it appears he basically froze up when the slide began.
