"The interruption performance"

The performance consists of a musician (Axel Dörner) playing a composition and a performer (Diego Chamy) seated among the audience interrupting the concert recurrently. Each time the musician is interrupted, he stops playing and starts the piece again from the beginning. The action is repeated five times, until the musician gives up and walks off the stage.

Background idea:

Strangely, devices of control seem to have much more problems understanding and dealing with representations than with actions that intentionally intent to avoid them. Therefore, more than trying to escape control directly, this work is an attempt of just "representing" a situation that goes out of control. When a non-disciplined behavior is folded into a harmless device, one could more effectively escape control, promote creativeness, innovative thought and social freedom, as a result of an action that is not detected as dangerous, since it's supposedly a mere representation.

The performance was billed as a solo concert, with Dörner playing his own composition ("Clinamen" for Trumpet Solo). Chamy's name did not appear in the program, and the audience was unaware that an action would take place.
