We're Not Drunk As You Suppose We're Just Full of the Holy Ghost

The Sanctuary August 23 2009 the spirit fell and several danced, shouted and even laughed in the Holy Ghost. Sister Young shouted it down on the platform and then came down and laughed in the spirirt till she got home that night.

ALL of Acts 2

& Acts 2:13-16 it says "Some, however made fun of them & said "they have had too much wine" Then Peter stood up with the eleven, raised his voice & addressed the crowd " Fellow jews & all you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you: Listen carefully to what i say. These men are not drunk as you suppose. its only nine in the morning! Know this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel" then it quotes what God said to Joel how he will pour out his spirit on us.

If you read the entire book of Acts, whenever the Spirit did something, it was for a purpose and that purpose was for building the Church. Though it appears this is from "the Spirit" it is not, do you really believe God would have this filmed for building up the Body of Christ? This is something that could be demonically inspired. Again, whats the purpose of the Holy Spirit doing this to a person? The LORD doesn't heal people to just heal them, He does it for others to know HE CAN HEAL too.

Praise God this is just uncontrollable JOY in the spirit! Praiuse God for expressing the Holy Ghost in ANY way! Who are WE to judge or approve of how the Holy Ghost expresses?

Further more, if the spirit was moving on you in such a manner it would of been of wisdom to ask the Lord what he was trying to convey to you. Not to keep laughing. I find it wrong even the more when people want to teach on how to fake speak in tongues and call it their prayer language. The tongues come by the spiriting giving utterance, not by people deciding they want to speak in tongues. I encourage all to ask god on these manners and to abide in his word the ever more. Prov. 25:8-He that [hath] no rule over his own spirit [is like] a city [that is] broken down, [and] without walls.

I come from a Holiness Church where the spirit of the Lord abides, where the gifts of the spirit flourish. Yet in my whole time being there I have never seen the Spirit of the Lord ever move on someone like this. I find this disturbing for the Lord is not the author of confusion but of peace. We cant stop how God moves on us but we can control the reaction. i
