This is footage of the Enbridge Energy Pipeline oil spill near Marshall, Michigan. This is only 10 miles from my house. The spill was into a small creek that feeds into the Kalamazoo River. This river flows through west Michigan and out into Lake Michigan between the cities of Douglas and Saugatuck. It is estimated that over a million gallons have entered the river and is on its way to Lake Michigan. LakeTrek.Blogspot.com

  • It's too bad they weren't monitoring the pipeline more closely. They could have shut it off much sooner and reduced the amount spilled.
