among all the 11 dogs you raised, how many became a guide dog?

@dianemarie0000 3 of our puppies have graduated to become guides. But 1 is still out in another puppy raising home currently.

What happens when these guys don't make it through the training, for one reason or another?

@gsplover2 Eli and Ricki are both former guide dog puppies that we have raised. We get first choice to keep them as pets or they can go into other forms of work like search and rescue, diabetic alert, or therapy. The other option is to be adopted out to another family. They will always be found a home.

YAY! do you think her cuddle-ness will be a problem or become more of an asset when it comes to being a guide dog? I don't know much about this so sorry if this is a silly question! Can't wait to see more.

@reysside some people want a very cuddly dog so it won't really help her guide work but her person may love it.

I love puppy pickup! We do the same thing and make sure to puppy proof the house before bringing home a new puppy. Great job with episode 1! Pilaf is adorable!

@MeganTheVampire1 every dog is different so yes some of the techniques do change, but the basics are the same.
