Stuttering Porky

@theboombody The lyrics go:
"I think you're swell I do,
I'd just like that, BUM BUM BUM BUM,
i'd tip my hat to you,
butI haven't got a hat BUM BUM BUM BUM BUM BUM"
-
For some reasons, I always thought "I Haven't Got A Hat" was a Looney Tunes cartoon from the 1940s, mainly due to Porky's and Little Kitty's recitals. lol

I'd tip my hat to you but I haven't got a hat (Boom boom boom boom boom boom)
-
And from this cartoon, a star was born!
-
I may need subtitles, cause I can't almost understand it because of his speech way...
-
0:16 Error there...
-
to me those early cartoons were naturally funnier the decay of creativity happened in late 50s early 60s with examples like speedy gonzales being hunted by daffy or when chuck gave away r.runner to others just my opinion

@fromthesidelines That's Leon for ya - probably too cheap to edit the tracks!

Okay.
I will.
Porky's original voice during his first two years was provided by Joe Daugherty [or Doherty], a real stutterer; in fact, Friz Freleng sometimes worried that Leon Schlesinger would find out that Joe often wasted a lot of film soundtracks because he couldn't control his stuttering; finally, Mel Blanc replaced him by mid-1937.

Can I find the whole episode somewhere? I loved the title song.
"I'd tip my hat to you, I'd do just that, I'd tip my hat to you but I haven't got a hat"
Something like that.
