Cover version and slide show tribute to the late great Teresa Teng 邓丽君. Yeah, I know my Mandarin isn't so good, but hey, I'm a white boy from California (born in Oregon) so what do you expect? :-)

Teresa's version is in the key of G. I recorded this song in the key of E, but it's a bit tricky on the guitar in that key. It's much easier in D, so I will include those chords below also.
Key of E
Intro: E / C#m / A / B
1st Verse: E / G#m / A / E / C#m / A / F# / B
2nd Verse: E / G#m / A / E / C#m / A / F# B / E
1st Bridge: E / G#m / F#m B / E / E / C#m / F# / B
3rd Verse: E / G#m / A / E / C#m / A / F# B / E
Inst. Break: E / G#m / A / E / C#m / A / F# B / E
2nd Bridge: E / G#m / F#m B / E / E / C#m / F# / B
4th Verse: E / G#m / A / E / C#m / A / F# B / E
Tag & Outro: C#m / A / F# B / E C#m / A Am / Emaj7
Key of D
Intro: D / Bm / G / A
1st Verse: D / F#m / G / D / Bm / G / E / A
2nd Verse: D / F#m / G / D / Bm / G / E A / D
1st Bridge: D / F#m / Em A / D / D / Bm / E / A
3rd Verse: D / F#m / G / D / Bm / G / E A / D
Inst. Break: D / F#m / G / D / Bm / G / E A / D
2nd Bridge: D / F#m / Em A / D / D / Bm / E / A
4th Verse: D / F#m / G / D / Bm / G / E A / D
Tag & Outro: Bm / G / E A / D Bm / G Gm / Dmaj7
That may look like a lot of changes, but actually all the verses are the same except the first one, which is only slightly different at the end of it. The two bridges are identical. The instrumental break section is the same as a verse. So once you nail down the verse and the bridge, you have most of the song already.
Thanks for watching. :-)
I see....so what about your next song?
(look forward to watch.....)

And please tell me why you know her ?

@adhichati In 2004, I had a chinese girlfriend, and this was her favorite Teresa Teng song. She introduced me to (older) chinese music.

So. It's mean that you are Chinese American or White American . If you are white ,you are so amazing that you can pronounce and sing like that because I also study Chinese also. But If I guess form your voice , you are Chinese American Right? because you voice sounds very very Asian.

@adhichati No, I'm white American. Norwegian on my Dad's side, Irish/English on my Mom's side. Six feet tall, blonde hair and blue eyes. My pronunciation isn't that good actually, so don't use my version as a guide. :-)
