You are supposed to tweak in Jubilife city in order to get to the void. Once in the void, don't save in the void, or you will be stuck there forever. You can also hatch eggs in the void.

No, it is possible, if you use the void tricks you can end upright next to darkrai, instead of surfing like in the video. (if you surf, you cannot enter the island)

i got darkrai and shaymin both by doing the tweaking glitch youre probally doing it in the wrong spots
