  • What happened with your blog?

you said you would post soon

  • @banchi21995 I haven't really been messing with cheat engine for a while. I've been really busy with some other stuff so I haven't had the time to update my blog and add new videos. Sorry :(

  • How did you know which of the green adresses to choose?

Why did you choose the first one?

And thanks for the tutorial ^^

  • @coladomestre I know because it's the only one in the list. If you're getting more than one address show up when you scan, then change the value in the tutorial then go back to Cheat Engine and do a "Next Scan" for that number. It should find the correct address.

  • >>######X# - nov edx.[ebx+18]

    >>######X# - nov edx.[eax]

    >>######X# - nov edx.[eax+14]

    >>######X# - nov edx.[eax+0c]

You can find that in the MORE INFORMATION tab when you click "Find out what accesses this address" and the RED line has something like the above. Those are your offsets.

  • thanks DUDE... it really helps me out for tutorial step 8!!!

  • @Mintish I'm getting the same thing!!!

    Didn't figure it out though...

    Someone HELP!

  • Thx, i was blocked for this step ;)

  • I have a question. I'm trying to hack something more complicated (an actual game), and can't figure out what to do if more than one instruction accesses the address. Does it matter which one I choose?

  • @baronnel14

I agree. When I tried it his way I failed. So I did it the right way and it worked.

  • @baronnel14 cuz hes a liar

  • why did he click "find out what writes this address" its said in cheat engine is "find out what accesses this address"

    why?

    why?

  • Why am I the one who gets the crappy version? Every time I seek what accesses it, I get two more values, and don't see green until the 5th level meaning that there's about 32 different possibilities. It's so lame.

Anyone know something that would help narrow down the results?

  • @abreu223 the codes in there have a [+18] for the first pointer you find, then the next one doesn't have anything in the box where it says [eax] or whatever is in there.. then the next one says [eax+14] so you add 14 for the next pointer, then the last one (the fourth one) says [eax+0c].. so you could put 0c or just "c" since 0 is nothing. I just realized after watching this tutorial video that you have to take notes on notepad or something as you go so you remember the +14, +18 stuff for later
