  • @henkman00 True. Ba'al was awesome. They should have had him make an appearance in Stargate Atlantis. I want to see space battle of Goa'uld vs Wraith.

  • lol Ba'al is not afraid of Anubis. He plays with Anubis, who has a inflated ego. It's probably a clone that will send information to the great God Baal.

  • @smik4978 he wants to make life in his own image. That is the power of the ancients. They seeded the milky way with life.

  • @HaBooBo0 Anubis is a partially ascended being, and up til the end of season 7 (episode Lost City), he had an energy shield keeping his form intact. Since then he is able to possess humans for a time, like any Goa'uld. Something about his essence causes their body to rot and he has to move from host to host. Thats why he has the scabs on his face in this clip.

  • @smik4978 He'd just wait and let new creatures evolve and control them :p

  • @HaBooBo0 No, his sheer power destroys hosts, seemingly meaning he needs to, if only for his vanity, keep on moving. He's moved on since that first guy, but he still doesn't have a body with an energy shield to contain him.

  • Ra' and Apophis were the best

  • Ba'al is one of the coolest(but smuggest =P) Goa'uld ever, I kind of like him and wouldn't really call him a bad guy, he's like the Albert Wesker(from Resident Evil) of the Stargate Universe.

Anubis though... just a stuck up dick head that's worse than all the other 'gods' put together =/

  • @smik4978 anubis can easily recreate life in the galaxy they even talk about it in the episode

  • Wait..what? I thought Anubis was a partially-ascended, non-corporeal being kept in place by some kind of glittery face-shield? It's been awhile since I've seen an episode, how is this scabby fellow Anubis all of a sudden? Is this the same guy that got possessed by Anubis and sent himself to the ice planet?

  • But why does Anubis wish to destroy all living things in the galaxy? That would mean that he has nothing to rule over. It makes no sense at all.

  • @Jurga23 Season 8, the episode is Threads. However this is only in the extended edition. The broadcast version often cuts this part (and several others from the episode).
