Coming out of the closet is so last week. The new hot media trend is "outing" 5,000-year-old skeletons from the apparent sexual confusion of their caves. But does the story of the so-called "Gay Caveman" hold up? Bryan Safi hunts (for the truth) and gathers (gay-themed prehistoric puns) in this week's "That's Gay."

That's Gay is a recurring segment on the weekly television show infoMania. In each episode of That's Gay, Bryan Safi explores gay issues and stereotypes as they are portrayed by the clueless media. For more Bryan visit http://current.com/groups/thats-gay/ and Current TV.

infoMania is a half-hour comedy show that airs weekly on Current TV. Picture the ultimate office water-cooler, only with funnier co-workers who willingly stay up late imbibing all forms of media so you don't have to. Caveat: Bring your own water. • If he was buried like a woman, wouldn't the better explanation be that he was a woman? Not physically, of course, but it would make more sense to label it as a transgender skeleton as opposed to a gay skeleton.

And it would definitely be nice to see news stations reporting on current gay issues as well as ancient "gay" puzzles.

  • @Lhene9 That's what I thought! lol I always heard this case referred to as a "Transgender skeleton", and so when I saw this, as a transguy, I was like "Dammit gays, quit stealing our thunder!" ^_^

  • @rjnovac

Plaid is NEVER a fashion don't... bitch.

  • Your shirt is a fashion don't. Just sayin.

  • Very true this, The media would rather present "colorful" fictions rather than deal with

the harder issues in modern society. It's safer and it sells more.

    Love the show. xxx

  • well actually if a man was gay he would be treated like a woman now i see what you are saying and agree but i wanted to point out how primitive societys exepted us but we are not exepted now

  • Awesome video, as usual, loved it!
