Age of Conan DirectX 10 gameplay HD Demonologist

This is just a quick video of me playing a demonologist lvl 9 on the trial. It's to show some of the DX10 effects and how it runs on my hardware. I usually get around 50-60fps, but in towns it'll go down to 30ish. I used my Sanyo Xacti 720p video camera to record it, so I wouldn't suffer frames from a screen recording program.

My Hardware:
Intel i7 @ 2.8GHz
ATI Radeon 4890 HD w/ 1GB GDDR5
1 TB 7200RPM HDD
4GB DDR3 Ram
5.1 Surround Sound
32" 1080p LG TV (for monitor :) :) )

Running Windows 7 64-bit

how good is the frame rate for driect X 9

@RagingBerserkr with dx9 i stayed above 80fps except in the harder spots, but never dropping below 30 with my specs. It could be a lot different now though. I haven't played for probably a little under a year.

i went back to AoC after leaving WoW again, I just play casually and wanted to see what it was like. I always liked AoC, who cares if the population isn't high (no idea what the numbers are) but if more people join the more we support this well crafted game...WoW's days are numbered well Blizzard themselves said it...2 more expacs left and thats it

@MattRomeroMusic Yeah, who knows where WoW will go. It's always said that the next mmo will be the end of WoW, but it isn't. But, I also believe one day something will rock the mmo world, and we'll all hear about it! Have fun w/ AoC, it's a fun game!

My main problem with considering going back to AoC is the population.... Apparently theres not even 50k players total.... or so im told...
