Have you loaded up a VMWare successfully to 10.5.2 but can't update and reboot back into Mac OS? Or can you but still not get up to 10.5.7? View this guide here to be able to install the iPhone SDK in ANY version of 10.5.x! You can now develop iPhone/iPod applications in Windows! If you need a guide on how to get a VMWare with Mac OS X 10.5.2, visit http://www.icyco.net/ and go to our iPhone Development forums!

  • seems like 10.5.2 runs xcode just fine while 10.5.5 doesn't....have you tried 10.5.5?

  • I don't like upgrading past 10.5.2 because I don't want my installation to crash. It's a very heavy weight on thin ice that I only do things I KNOW work and won't make the installation shit it's pants.

  • i have loaded sucessfully an WMware 10.5.5 Mac Os Leopard image, but when i try to update on reboot shows a kernel panic screen. I can to install Xcode 2.5 in 10.5.5 Leopard first, after Iphone SDK 3.0 but when i try to build&run, Xcode Hang up, and the cursor show a beautifull rainbow.

Any suggest are welcome. I am thinkin buy a mac mini to develop.

  • 10.5.6 is VERY hard to successfully boot with, in fact, it's so hard to boot with, some images are just suspended and never shut down, which is problematic for some users. What you should do, is just watch my video, and make your 10.5.5 look like 10.5.6.

  • I try to install Xcode Tools 3.0 with iphone support, whta version do you have installed?

  • Xcode 3.1.3
