Let's Play Final Fantasy #02 - Preparations

In this video, I discuss equipment and spell purchases. Also, I go over a few battles for gaining gold.

Tell me what you think of the pixelated transition I used between files for grinding. It was a little too quick, I think, due to how I recorded, but that can be fixed. I plan on doing something similar for when I want to skip individual battles later on, instead of creating multiple files. My second favorite transition effect was the shattering effect, ala Final Fantasy X, which I'm also considering.

Typically, I plan on doing 1 video per day. I just have no work today and I'm pleasantly surprised by the positive response I got from the first video.

Hi, just one quick comment concerning armours and weapons. Just something you may like to know, but up to you. Your black belt (or monk) does a bonus damage if bare-handed, and as nunchucks only increase damage by 1 or so, you'll probably be better unarmed. Also, white mage should wear cloth or wooden armour, as casting magic increases threat. Your monk won't find higher defence with armour though.

@Antix Aye but I just meant all new generation games not just Xbox in my opinion most 360,ps3 and wii games are crap very rarey we get a high quality rpg such as this :(

@Kidanis thats funny. i grew up with these games and i now love xbox games. especially their exclusives. they are about as good as nintendos exclusives. its a shame playstation has no good exclusives though. they should take a few notes from xbox and nintendo.

At what point does the Blackbelt become stronger without weapons as opposed to weapons? I was using weapons until about level 20 until i tested it and found blackbelt was stronger using his fists

actually HC bailey the best weapon for the BL belt is no weapon at all at least untill later game
