@Rubywine yes... I can totally empathise with that and respect your opinion. But, a few things I would point out:
Hugging the mainstream? Michael was always criticised because of how different he was and how eccentric he was. I think it's sad that you'd say that... people who hug the mainstream... hmm... let's see, Justin Bieber, JLS, mainstream embracers! But michael, he was very, very different. If you don't recognise it, then that's fine. Janet is also a ledgend, so it's cool by me.

I'm 15, and I recently started being obsessed with music and I've been open to all different styles and genres. About a month ago I started listening to Janet Jackson. Best decision ever! I love her music and especially this song. Really disappointed to what has happened to our music industry. There are only a few great artists right now. It's singers like her that we need to keep music real. Sorry for what my generation has done to music.
Btw, this song was playing in my weights class today! :D

Back when there was creativity and a real concept in both music and music videos. Sadly its rare to find artists doing the above and beyond with the visuals
