@mrbluejello I've watched the show and seen the part where he said he was a libertarian, but that's bullshit because we all know that not everybody has seen the entire season. Also, you have to ask yourself is a show about breaking the law and violence something that's gonna make Ron Paul look good. Isn't the end result still a "subliminal" message whether the character was or wasn't a libertarian. I think they had him say that he was a libertarian just so they could cover their asses.

@Albatross108 It was just a scene highlighting Gale who was unapologetic about being a Libertarian. He even had a line or two about it in his first appearance. You're getting too deep about it too, as much as the others are. It would be like a detective flipping through a note book that Lex Luthor owned , and in one page you saw Kryptonite. That's as harmless as this was. Just reinforcing the character of Gale.

@mrbluejello I'm glad mrbluejello posted what he posted. Because I was about to have to explain that to this uploader ( @DormeusJessup ) who obviously just knee jerk reacts without knowing what the heck they're talking about, and clearly hasn't watched the show. There was also the one conversation between the same two that was very Libertarian leaning when they were out on the porch with the Cuban cigars comparing those vs. other activities that seem wrong to criminalize.

REAL CUTE, HUH? I didnt know whether to like or dislike this. i appreciate you posting this video. Ron Paul 2012!

Having said that, I'm not saying that the creators of the show did this on purpose being aware of the effect of this scene. They were just following orders..and well, just think about, if you, as the producer, can please the people who are financing your show by just inserting a simple label inside a book and showing it for one second, wouldn't you do it?

Some of the people criticizing this video should learn how subliminal messaging works before discrediting it. It doesn't matter if this man was a libertarian or that it would make sense for him to support Ron Paul because that only works at the conscious level. The truth is that this is a moment of great suspense in which our mind (on an Alpha level consciousness) is being bombarded with words filled with negative connotations (i.e. Hitler, meth, etc) and associating them with Ron Paul.

The character (in season 3 episode 6) is a libertarian. Just like Walt was shown as being a low status individual, by the contempt shown to him by the hand job of his wife, the patronizing way he was spoken to by his brotherinlaw at his party, the contempt shown by his car wash boss and the kids he taught, Gale is shown as being a naive obsessive nerd with his chemistry obsession, coffee brewing, poetry and libertarianism (THE definer of the politically naive drug fan)...

what do expect? its called mind control and happens in everything you see or participate in. you just have to be aware of it. or continue to be a sheeple and victim. go ron paul go.

ironic thing is a drug dealer would hate ron paul because if drugs are legalized, they have to go legit and theres always less money legit. drug cartels would hate ron paul
If you watched the show, you would understand this, it's not a conspiracy.
The person who owned the notebook was a libertarian in the strictest sense. Hence, he had no problem with manufacturing a substance (meth) that he believed was everyone's liberty to choose whether or not to use.
He was a chemist. Given Willie Nelson's association with cannabis, and his promotion of biodiesel, the placement of the Willie Nelson Biodiesel sticker added to the background of the character.

@mrbluejello lol, right after they say "one of Hitler's guys" they flash "Ron Paul"; subliminal messaging doesn't get anymore blatant than that.
